Funeral for my Father (2021)
I never understood why, but in Buddhist culture, it’s customary to have the wake and funeral documented. It’s very normal to have family photos in front of the coffin at the funeral procession. I didn’t include those photos as they were taken by my good friend Lee with my gear and despite the solemn atmosphere, the photos turned out great. I took these images the day after the funeral, which was a closing ceremony to say our peace and bring on good health and fortune after.
Photos taken on a Canon R6; EF 50mm f/1.4 USM & EF 85mm f/1.8 USM with a Canon EOS-R Mount Adapter with Control Ring, RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM; Moment Cinebloom Filter in 10% (50mm) and 20% (35mm)
